Chemistry exists in
almost every part in our lives due to its importance as one of the most
essential sciences. Chemists are decreasing around the world. Locally, I did
statistics and surveys at a private
school and Lebanese International University. And it showed that the main problem demonstrates
how teaching skills are contributing to this decrease. So my suggestion was to
come up with innovative ideas in teaching chemistry using different skills like
experiments, activities and games.
Some example of the innovated ideas:
1)Galvanic cell experiment in a paper
Statistic done for the class showed that about 80% of students get more benefit from the new skill
Well done, I like the projects very much. I'm a chemistry teacher and I know that experimenting the topics to be taught to students in front of them is very important. Most of the students like chemistry as experiments and not as rules and memorizing. We should work on this very well, perform experiments in front of students, so we can make them love the subject more.
