Disadvantages Of Early Marriage by:
Many people are marrying early these days. They would like to get into matrimony as soon as their courtship is over. Tying the knot is important to strengthen their relationship. They feel settling down in life early would help them set up their independent home.
Examples are :
1. Responsibility has to be shouldered at a very young age. One has to take on household responsibilities, child rearing responsibility etc. There is no adult to guide or help out.
2. Missing out on the fun of teenage life and being young. The drudgeries of married life can get to you. They deprive you of your youth.
3. Health also can get affected as early pregnancy can have a negative impact on overall health.
4. Breakdown of marriage is possible. Often the young couple is immature to shoulder major responsibility and end up fighting with each other. Adjustment problems may arise.
5. Education also gets affected. The young couple may not be able to pursue higher education as they have to take on the responsibilities of family budget.
6. Work opportunities are limited for the youngsters. Since their education levels are low, they cannot get highly paid jobs.
7. Bringing up children may be difficult. Their knowledge of child care may be limited and parental guidance is also not there. They may not be able to provide the appropriate care for their child.

4 Tips Can Help Students Learn From Their Mistakes
I have found this article and i like to share it with you all
By:Karen T. Flories
I have found these four strategies helpful to encourage students to welcome and learn from errors in the classroom:
- Ask students to review test results and identify questions they thought were easy and ones they found difficult. Then, have them analyze the incorrect answers and identify their next learning steps. This supports a mindset that errors are opportunities offering insight into setting goals to help one develop and grow as a learner.
- Use past, anonymous examples of student work that include mistakes or incorrect responses and engage students in finding the errors and deciding what that learner would need to learn to move forward. Invite students to reflect on how doing this independently with their own work could help improve their growth and achievement.
- Take the time to build positive relationships with students. The teacher-student relationship is the key to creating an environment that sees errors as opportunities to learn and fostering a nurturing and safe classroom environment to do so. If students don’t feel comfortable and safe as learners, they won’t welcome learning from errors.
- Give students an active role in their learning. For too long, students have been passive learners, which kills their engagement, inquiry, curiosity and motivation. When teachers work with students to set clear intentions around learning and standards for success, they create an opening for students to take an active role in their learning. When students clearly see the final destination and the pathway to mastery, they can take an active role in learning, to great effect on their success.
When errors are expected, inspected, corrected and respected, student learning can accelerate. It takes skill and practice for teachers to build such an environment, but the impact on student learning is well worth the effort.
Senior Project
Chemistry exists in
almost every part in our lives due to its importance as one of the most
essential sciences. Chemists are decreasing around the world. Locally, I did
statistics and surveys at a private
school and Lebanese International University. And it showed that the main problem demonstrates
how teaching skills are contributing to this decrease. So my suggestion was to
come up with innovative ideas in teaching chemistry using different skills like
experiments, activities and games.
Some example of the innovated ideas:
1)Galvanic cell experiment in a paper
2) Atoms Lesson by designing an atom by arts
Statistic done for the class showed that about 80% of students get more benefit from the new skill
pH Lesson
In an acid-base lesson for grade 12 students, I did for them a small fun session.Students brought several kinds of food and juices and indicate their pH by using the pH paper scale. The session was achieved well, students learned and had fun at the same time.experimental and practical sessions are important in educating.
Educational Visits Enhance Learning
Visits can break the routine for both students and teachers. While their purpose is essentially to educate, they can also be a fun experience for everyone involved. One of the everlasting visits is to PandaPlast Company during my last year as a chemistry student at LIU. The project consisted of visit to PandaPlast company and collecting the information about the practices being followed there to get a deep insight into plastic material production (like storage tanks, polypropylene pipes and equipment for public uses..) and to know about the important role that company plays in manufacturing plastics with good quality.
This visit had many benefits in which it:
- Reinforced what the teacher had been teaching in class about a plastic synthesis and helped us as students to understand the topic better.
- Provided valuable educational opportunities away from the classroom without using textbooks and other tools used in a normal classroom setting.
- Helped to experience new educational environments and create joyful memories with the teacher.

Webinar; Sharing Child Assessment Results With Parents
I attended a webinar about sharing child assessment results with parents by Dr.Laura . Dr.Laura defined assessment first which is a process of gathering information systematically and using that info for educational activities. It provide a snapshot of child's current skills. Example: an ice berg.
Then, she talked about the barriers to sharing assessment results with parents and that are:
1) Don't feel confident in your assessment skills.
2) Don't really understand the scores.
3) Don't know how the parents might react.
Parents always want to know how their child is doing. So, Dr.Laura give us some tips to prepare before the conversation.
1) Plan what you will say and how you will say it.
2) Have a written document to guide you.
3)Start with a brief description of the assessment.
4) lead with the child's strength.
5) Be kind,honest and professional.
Assessment helps you to know how each child is progressing, its a dynamic process and it helps you plan future instruction to benefit each child. Remember, to not compare any child ability to another since everyone has his own ability. Assessment can help parents understand their child's development.
At the end, ask parents to share their perspective and thank them for coming. And remember, that this child is one of many for you, but not for parents.
